Posted May 1st, 2007 - - The dates of our 90-day trip have been set. Please put June 13th down on your calendars as our departure date for Sydney and September 17th as our return date to the States.

Posted April 6th, 2007 - - At the request of Sunset, we have agreed to take a 90-day survey trip to Sydney. We plan to leave in late May or early June. The purpose of this trip, in addition to the survey recognizance, will be to initiate more of the details of the agreement between Sunset and Macquarie. My time there will be spent recruiting students, meeting with church leaders, Bonding with current staff and students, vision casting with current staff and evaluating the most glowing of the needs of the school. The funds for this trip are above and beyond our Budgeted One-time fund. Please consider how you might help us raise the $10,000 for this trip and/or the remaining funds needed to move over there permanently. Current Support needs: We are in need of around $4,000 per month and about $16,000 one-time funds in order to move into the permanent phase of this ministry. For those of you who have pledged and have NOT sent your funds, please follow the directions of the Pledge form located in the “Support Us” section of the site. For those of you who have not pledged yet, please follow those same directions and let’s get to Australia together! Also … I am looking for church and mission-minded member referrals. If you know of a contact I can make to discuss the work we are proposing, I would be honored if you trust me with that contact information. Remember the Ephesians 3:20-21 passage that has served as our Mission theme verses? The emphasis, as you revisit that passage today is the Power that Paul mentions. It is definitely God’s Power … but it is at work "within us". The Partnership principle is empowered by God … Through … US!! Posted April 3rd, 2007 - - We have great news, Park Central Church of Christ has agreed to be our Home Congregation. They have agreed to collect all of our funds each month to send to us. If you are interested in supporting us you can mail it to the following address:

Posted February 26th, 2007 - - My family and I will be in Port Arthur, TX (Park Central church of Christ, 3901 Jimmy Johnson Blvd) from March 8-13, 2007. I will be making a presentation on the Work at MSOBS, Sydney, AUS and speak at their worship services about a Partnership relationship that we hope to create. Currently, the Park Central congregation has agreed to be our “Home congregation”. This blesses us with a home to return to that is quite near an area I have served for 11 years.
